The tour starts at 09:30 in the morning, with a pick-up from your hotel. The guide and driver will then take you to the Goreme Panorama Point, a viewpoint that offers a panoramic view of the Goreme Town and the valleys of Cappadocia. At the viewpoint, you will have the opportunity to admire the unique landscapes and rock formations of Cappadocia while your expert guide provides you with information about the region's history and geography. The next stop is Derinkuyu Underground City, which is Cappadocia's deepest underground city. All of the facilities of a traditional underground city are available in this subterranean city, but in this one, you will reach 60 meters beneath the surface.
We'll then head to one of Turkey's most stunning canyons: Ihlara Canyon. Hiking 3 kilometers will be one of the highlights of our trip. We will walk through the canyon for about 1 hour, passing by Byzantine rock-cut churches with frescoed interiors. The hiking will end in Belisirma village, where we dine at a picturesque riverside restaurant.
After lunch, we will drive 15 minutes to Selime Monastery, which is the largest in the region. After climbing there, we will see the monastery, kitchen, cathedral, and church components. Then, we will take 1 hour and 30 minutes to go back to the Uchisar area to see the Pigeon Valley Panorama. Around 5:30 pm, we will return you to your hotel.
